Ex Lawmaker, Makinde Weeps as Amosun set to Demolish His House in Ogun State

  Hon.Rotimi  Makinde

This is certainly not the best of time for a one term honourable member of the Nigeria’s House of Representatives, Rotimi  Makinde as a building structure belonging to him previously marked 6 meters owing to the road expansion going on in Akute axis of the border town between Ogun and Lagos states.
It was today marked 18 meters which somehow means  that the building will have to be pulled do eventssource.wn.  learns that the housing project which had gulped the famous actor turned politician over hundred million from a loan he took from Diamond Bank in 2008.
Not long ago,  Capricornian Hotel which also belongs to the former lawmaker was locked up for almost four months.  The reports has it that the embattled politician through phone conversation opined that he was in Abuja and he is at sad moment over the development in Ogun state.
Makinde who was apparently weeping said that he understands there are crowd of people gathering at the said building, noting that hundreds of sympathizers have called him to intimate him of the sad development. “I understand few buildings to my property had been demolished. It was indeed a rude shock to me but if the decision to expand the road is in the public interest ,who I’m I to complain. However, I just hope the government would be sensitive to the plight of the people. What actually baffles me is the sudden re-marking which I understand was done today and changed from 6 meters previously marked  to 18 meters which will now consumed  the entire premises. The premises used to be a school I established since 2015,  was personally pulled down in view of the on going development. It was step backward to give room to the present shopping complex in line with the 2012 notice”. Makinde said as he concluded with a heavy heart that “Well, life continues “
